Our highly reliable solar street lights utilises a large solar arrays and battery banks to power high-brightness LED lights. We dimension our products to be able to continue working when lesser designs fail. Typically our battery systems are large enough to power these lights for almost twelve nights straight with no sunlight during the day, and will run reliably for years and years without any routine maintenance being required.

Designed for reliability and security

Our unique and internationally patented designs place the batteries at the top of the pole for added security. The shade from solar array and cross ventilation in the enclosure keeps the batteries cooler. The protective housing around the solar array protects the back of the solar panel and keeps all of the wiring completely enclosed. The highly reliable LED light provides superior light, and automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn or programmed for other durations and has rated life of more than 25,000 hours. We have a range of systems to meet specific requirements including a twin head design.

Off-grid charging option

Our SPSL-100 has an exclusive feature of being available with an optional charging station, this patented innovation allows for low power electrical devices such as cellular phones to be charged from a plug-in 12VDC recharging interface at the base of the street light. By providing not only off-grid lighting but also off-grid power makes the SPSL-100 a uniquely different product.

Please note this product is designed for equatorial regions of the Earth such as central Africa and central South America which have high solar yields throughout the year, although it can be adapted for other regions.
